For a weekend, ONLY YOU PRIVILEGE members dropped their luggage in Paris as part of the DS TOUR. A look back at this immersive experience in the best of France!

Upon their arrival at the Gare du Nord, drivers were waiting for them. While strolling through the streets and monuments of Paris, the ONLY YOU PRIVILEGE members were able to enjoy the trip on board the DS 7 CROSSBACK E-TENSE and DS 9 E-TENSE.

The first stop was at the 5* hotel « La Clef Louvre », a few steps away from the Louvre Museum. Each participant stayed in a magnificent suite in Haussmann style. The room was also equipped with a kitchen and a living room overlooking a square not far from the Louvre.

Soon they were on their way to the Place des États-Unis where the Baccarat House is located. The entrance was sumptuous. A magnificent crystal vase welcomed the day’s visitors. At the top of the stairs stands a majestic chandelier with 157 lights near the Baccarat Crystal Room. In this elegant setting, the menu and décor helped to make this a wonderful experience: a gourmet table decorated with Baccarat glassware and decorative objects illuminated the place. The food was finely prepared. What French gastronomy excels at.

Afterwards, the visit of the Museum started with two lecturers who told the history of this House. For a very special moment, our members went through the museum, discovering from one room to another the most beautiful creations of the Baccarat House.

Back at the hotel, a very special visit was planned for the ONLY YOU PRIVILEGES members. On the occasion of this DS TOUR, the participants were able to visit the Louvre Museum, which is closed to the public. For two hours, the lecturer accompanied them through the silent corridors of the Museum. They had the privilege to walk through the masterpieces of the Louvre: the Raft of the Medusa, the coronation of Napoleon, the Mona Lisa and the jewels of the French empresses.

Finally, after a mind-nourishing visit, they went to La Brasserie du Louvre by Paul Bocuse. A menu was specially chosen to satisfy everyone’s desires. Between the traditional foie gras perfectly marbled, the snacked cod and the baba au rhum, the flavours exalted the taste buds of the guests.

As night fell, the members returned to their suites, as the next day still held many surprises in store.

After a hearty breakfast, the drivers dropped them off at 30, rue Montaigne. The doors of the Dior Gallery opened for a visit that was, once again, totally private.

As soon as you enter, the diorama is breathtaking. More than 1,500 Dior pieces are on display, starting with the hottest colour and working up to the coldest. In the middle, a spiral staircase marks the beginning of the visit. Each room offers a unique atmosphere. There was no window to separate us from the works of the House of Dior. The clothes elegantly presented on mannequins were either unique pieces worn by clients or pieces from the catwalk.

On the way out, the drivers were waiting for them for their last stop, the gastronomic restaurant « Sphère ». Located on rue la Boétie in the 8th arrondissement of Paris, the restaurant Sphère is a new Parisian restaurant that opened in September.

You may not know its name yet, but its refined and modern aesthetic already sets the tone.

In a zen and pure atmosphere, you can enjoy high quality dishes created by the Japanese chef Tetsuya YOSHIDA.

As the DS TOUR drew to a close, the participants were able to take advantage of some free time in the capital to visit the Galeries Lafayette and Parisian monuments before getting back on board the DS7 CROSSBACK E-TENSE and DS9 E-TENSE to reach the Gare du Nord to catch the return train.
